▾ What's the difference between denim shorts and linen shorts?
Denim shorts are sturdier and hold their shape through a full day, the classic choice for anything casual or outdoors. Linen shorts are lighter and looser through the leg, made for heat, and they wrinkle on purpose as part of the look. Denim leans everyday, linen leans warm weather and dressier casual.
▾ High waisted or low rise shorts: which is more flattering?
High waisted, for most body types and most outfits, since it elongates the leg and gives you something to tuck a top into. Low rise has its moment for a specific 2000s-inspired look, but it's less forgiving and less versatile. If you only own one pair, make it high waisted.
▾ How do shorts fit compared to the jeans in the same size?
Not always the same. Shorts run on their own fit block per brand, so a size that works in our jeans might run differently in shorts from the same label. Check the size chart and fit notes on each product page rather than assuming your usual size carries over.
