Shop by Occasion

Shop by what you are doing rather than by garment. Each edit gathers the pieces that work for one kind of night or day, pulled from the brands we carry and our own label, and each one refills itself as new stock lands. Two are live now and more are added as they are built.

▾ How is this different from shopping by category?

Category answers what a thing is. Occasion answers what it is for. If you already know you want a mini skirt, the category pages are faster. If you know you have a Friday night and nothing to wear, an occasion edit does the sorting for you, because it has already filtered out the pieces that read as daytime. Most people use both: the occasion page to narrow it down, the category page to compare what is left.

▾ How do you put together an outfit for an occasion?

Start with the thing that fixes the tone, then build around it. For a night out that is usually the fabric, so satin or mesh first and the shape second. For a concert it is the shoe, because you will be standing in it for six hours. Pick that one piece, keep everything else plain, and the outfit reads considered instead of busy. Sizes vary by label, so check the options on each product page.

Everything here also lives in the main categories: Dresses, Tops, Bottoms, Shoes and Accessories. The Miss Behavin' Label is our own line and the one nobody else carries.
