A sweater is the layer you commit to in the morning. Ours run knit and pull on, close enough through the body to wear on their own and easy enough to go over a cami or a tee. For the days that start cold and do not warm up the way the forecast promised.
▾ What do you wear under a sweater?
Less than you think. A thin strap cami is the classic answer and it is classic because it works — the knit frames it and nothing bulks at the shoulder. A plain tee is the everyday version, and a collar peeking out reads more considered than it has any right to. Anything with structure through the shoulder fights the knit and you will feel it by lunchtime.
▾ When is a sweater the right call?
Mornings that will not turn. If the day is going to warm up you want something you can take off, and a sweater is a decision you make once. Where it earns its place is a cold start that stays cold — an early drive, a beach day in October, a plane. Over jeans in any cut, or a mini if you want the proportion to do something. Sizes vary by label, so check the options on each product page.
